How to plan your trip

  • Duitama ↔ Paipa (road 5502) Both carriageways are closed from 5:00 to 8:00 a.m. If you can, travel before 5:00 a.m. or after 8:00 a.m.
  • Duitama ↔ Nobsa and Sogamoso (road 6210) Closed from 6:00 to 9:00 a.m. from Av. Las Américas (Carrera 42) to Puente Blanco, Chámeza. Up to PR4+0274 only the right carriageway is closed; from there, the whole single carriageway.
  • Santa Rosa de Viterbo ↔ Duitama (road 5503) The longest closure outside the city: from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Plan that trip before 8:00 a.m. or after 2:00 p.m.
  • Gámeza, Mongua, Tópaga, Monguí, Corrales, Busbanzá and Floresta The roads between these towns are closed between 6:00 and 11:00 a.m., depending on the section. Check yours in the list before you leave.
  • Inside Duitama Avoid Transversal 19 (Chamber of Commerce), closed from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Av. Circunvalar. Take the roads the traffic officers point you to.
