Liability waiver and indemnity

By registering for the Gran Fondo Boyacá Mundial you declare and accept the following:

1. I understand that the GRAN FONDO BOYACÁ MUNDIAL is a recreational, non-competitive event that promotes respect for the environment, civic values and sporting respect.
2. I take part voluntarily and knowingly, and I state that my physical condition and performance level are adequate for the route I am registering for. I also undertake to comply with the safety rules set by the organiser.
3. I am aware of the risks inherent to taking part in the event and of the elements that are potentially dangerous and not fully within the organiser’s control, even with its prevention plan in place. I therefore freely, voluntarily and spontaneously assume and accept responsibility for all the risks, dangers and possible consequences that taking part in this event entails.
4. By this document I release and hold harmless the CORPORACIÓN GRAN FONDO BOYACÁ MUNDIAL, all sponsors, collaborating companies, all staff involved with those institutions and any other personnel involved in the event, from all contractual and non-contractual civil liability for any damage, injury, death, material or moral harm arising from the sporting activities in which I intend to take part. I likewise waive any claim for compensation, complaint, lawsuit or action for damages arising from the events in which I will take part. I state that both I and my heirs, administrators, guardians or trustees waive bringing any lawsuit or similar legal action against the CORPORACIÓN GRAN FONDO BOYACÁ MUNDIAL in connection with any damage or harm that may be caused as a consequence of the potential risks of my participation in the event.
5. This voluntary statement is in force from the moment it is signed and remains in force for the whole duration of the events and activities of the GRAN FONDO BOYACÁ MUNDIAL.
6. I declare that my state of health is fit for taking part in the events of the GRAN FONDO BOYACÁ MUNDIAL. Should I conceal any pathology or circumstance affecting my health, or act deceitfully to evade medical restrictions ordered or diagnosed for me, I assume responsibility for my actions and release the event organisation from all liability for the resulting consequences.
7. I know there are risks inherent to the use of substances banned in sport, I reject the use of such substances, and I authorise the organisers to allow approved government bodies to carry out anti-doping controls should that be the case.
8. I authorise the GRAN FONDO BOYACÁ MUNDIAL organisation to use the photographs taken on the day of the event for advertising and event promotion purposes.
9. I certify that I am of legal age and that I have read the instructions and recommendations set by the organisation, that I accept and fully understand their content, that I fully assume the risks of the event and that I freely and spontaneously accept this application to take part.

This document is accepted by ticking the corresponding box on the registration form, together with the regulations. A record of the acceptance is kept, with its date and the version of the text accepted.
